SRT Viper – Controller

Now introducing fully dynamic suspension for the Viper platform!

The DSC Sport Controller expands the dynamic range and rate of response of your factory damper controller, providing both improved track performance and a more comfortable ride on the street. It simply replaces the factory suspension controller with the DSC Sport controller. Like all DSC Sport controllers, the controller allows users to tune by g-force, brake pressure, acceleration, speed, steering, and control the effective damping range via shock calibration. DSC features 2 modes, “Normal” and “Sport” which will display on the dash during mode selection. Mode display on the dash in the same way that the factory controller does. DSC Sport Controllers come pre-programmed ready to go!

DSC Sport Active 991 RT Suspension Package

Controlled by the DSC Sport controller, the Road/Track (RT) coilover kit introduces the DSC Sport Active damper. The patented DDA valve offers the fastest, most dynamic, and most consistent damping range of any electronic damper on the market. Responding to commands from the DSC Sport controller in only six milliseconds, the DSC Sport controller allows for a more sophisticated tuning file, relying less heavily on predictive control strategies.

The mechanical build also sets the DSC Sport Active damper apart from all other class competitors. Offering the finest guide seal, piston, and shim stack arrangement on the market (.01mm guide clearance), the DDA valve incorporated damper withstands heavy load changes with no signs of hysteresis or stiction. Each design is tested on a shock dyno at 17 million cycles and must hold 85% of its damping performance to be approved for production. Replacing the factory shock controller, the DSC Sport Plug N Play controller is a state-of-the-art user definable suspension controller, featuring brake pressure, g-force, acceleration, speed (mph), and full individual shock calibration tables. Sway bars work by controlling the load transfers across the front and rear of a vehicle. These are a major contributing factor to whether a car will have a tendency to exhibit oversteer(loose) or understeer(tight).
